After determining your current eating habits and food choices, we will make small tweaks to help you continue to enjoy the foods you love in order for you to have the success you desire in this area. This component of the program IS NOT a diet! You will learn what foods to eat that you may not already be eating to help with your weight loss goals and/or to improve your overall health.

Food is your friend/ally, not your enemy.

We will focus on functional strength training exercises that will help you build healthy lean muscle to improve your physique and the activities of daily living. We will work smarter as the more lean muscle you gain, the more fat you burn. You will also understand how to effectively use cardiovascular exercise to maintain your overall health, lose weight and decrease unwanted fat.

It takes time to create a new habit and change unwanted or undesired habits. With this program, you will be given assignments that you will be starting at the beginning of the program and continuing throughout.

We will be working on forming new habits in the area of mental health, physical health, and nutrition. As you develop these habits that are designed to assist you in reaching your overall wellness goal, you should see changes and improvements in all areas of your life.

Many people fail at getting the results they want from training programs because they don’t have the support they need. They also don’t have a plan in place that they are able to track and see their improvement over time. When you start to see results and you have me as your coach encouraging you, it will help keep you motivated on your journey.

I will be right by your side throughout this entire 12-week program and the following 3+ months of maintenance. We will use a private accountability community to post your progress and success and get support from others on this wellness journey. Your success is my success! Flo Elkins is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer & Concept2/ UCanRow2 Certified Rowing Instructor based in Forney, TX. She has been training clients and getting them results for the last 10 years. She specializes in fitness/strength training, core and balance training, weight loss, rowing skills & techniques and injury prevention with an emphasis on functional movement. She also holds NASM certificates as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, a Sports Performance Enhancement Specialist, and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist. She has an Online Wellness Coaching Certificate from OTF (Online Trainer's Federation).

Ms. Flo understands that adapting to new fitness habits can be difficult. Her goal is to help change your view on fitness, based on your specific goals and background so that it becomes a part of who you are and your lifestyle. She strongly believes that if you understand where you are starting and you practice healthy habits over time, you will be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
